Tragedy

Tragedy gives birth to fury

Rage the cure for depression’s ills

A warrior is what I need to be

With all those deadly skills

The time for song and dance has ended

The Bard’s work is done

The pen for the sword I’ve traded

For I am a warrior’s son

They think that I’ll go meekly

Into the fading light

But they have woken the dragon

Who will not cannot go down without a fight

Forever

I thought we had forever
I thought that time was our friend
I never knew how fast time could pass
As it sped us towards the end
You held a part of my soul
I held a piece of your heart
Together we were a whole
Greater than the sum of our parts
But now our bond is broken
Like the frailest of glass
And I drink myself into oblivion
To forget our love that couldn't last
To wipe my mind clean of the pain
That keeps it chained
This amnesia anesthesia is my escape
The only thing that keeps me sane
I wake in the morning
Sick
Abandoned by the bottle
My only friend
And the memories come rushing back
So I grab a drink and start it all over again

Under the Galliard Moon

Mother swells, shining forth in fullness and in light

Signaling to Her children to sing their songs this night

We sing of Glory and of Honor, of Wisdom and of pain

We sing of the heroes we’ve lost and the victories we’ve gained

We sing of the Pure those who hunt us through the night

And we sing of our patrons who have given us their might

We sing of Pangaea, we sing of the paradise we’ve lost

We sing of our duty and our power and we sing of its cost

We sing of our Father, of whose strength we are but a pale shade

And we sing of our eternal shame which can never ever fade
